I am a French-American born in Paris from French-born parents and Polish-born grand parents. My parents, two sisters and I immigrated to NYC when I was 11 in 1956. In Paris, my dad was a street artist during the French Beat era, where he became one of the very first artist to paint on black velvet. I have been a lover of all kinds of art forms all my life as well as having a keen interest in science (I have a BA in Physics). Photography therefore was an easy creative art form for me to get into, because photography is the forever happy marriage of art and science. Architecture is another happy marriage of art and science, a profession I have always been interested in.

Below are a few photos of my "tree-house", a small studio in the woods. I'm at 1160 feet above sea level, just above Muir Woods, the spectacular small Redwood forest that has been preserved and protected as a National Monument. It is only 40 minutes north of San Francisco. More info to come soon.
